Why Did We Create Shorties?
We created Shorties to make discovering and enjoying content easier and more modern. As more users turn to mobile devices for entertainment, vertical videos have become the standard for quick, engaging viewing. Shorties caters to this trend, allowing you to explore a variety of creators and styles without interrupting your experience.
Shorties reflect how fans naturally enjoy content today: on smartphones, quickly and with a lot of variety. With most of our viewers using mobile devices, it was a no-brainer to evolve how we showcase content. In 2020, more than 80% of Pornhub’s traffic came from mobile devices. Since then, that number has grown steadily, reaching a peak in October 2023, when 97% of traffic came from mobile.
How to Use Shorties
Getting started is simple. Shorties can be found on both mobile and desktop; however, the feed is optimized for viewers on mobile devices.
On mobile:
- Open the homepage on your browser. You will find a Shorties carousel as you scroll down the page, as shown below.
- Main menu. Browsing the site and want to go back? At any point you can click the three horizontal lines at the top left corner to open the main menu. From there, click Shorties and it will bring you to the feed.
- Model page carousel. If you are exploring creators and they have uploaded vertical videos, a Shorties carousel will appear on their Model page.
On desktop:
- Head to the Shorties section from the three horizontal lines at the top left of a page to open the Shorties feed.
